Fish Van Comes to Alvingham

Each generation at Shaw’s Alvingham has adapted the business to the times, diversifying as needs must. Potatoes, fruit, vegetables and salad will always be our passion and at the heart of all things Shaw’s and we don’t want to get too distracted from that. However, increasing costs of operating are forcing us to look at new ideas to keep the business viable.

One of those new ideas for 2023 is to host a fish van here in the yard on a Friday morning. Stacey, who joined the team in 2022, approached us to see if we would be interested in her brother-in-law Paul coming along with his van which we thought sounded like a great idea! The first two weeks have been a success and hopefully something we will be able to continue doing with your support.
