Retail Order Collections
4TH AUGUST ONWARDS
Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to let us know their preference for ‘collection’, ‘delivery’ and ‘shop’ going forward from Tuesday 4th August.
The vast majority of people have said they would prefer to still either collect or deliver, more than 80% in fact, many stating that this will be the safer option for both themselves and us.
We have mapped our staffing requirements/availability based upon this information and can confirm that:
Collections and Deliveries
These will continue to be prepared 8am – 3pm. Same system as at present, booking slots with orders required 48 hours prior.
We have had a number of people that said that they would still prefer to collect an order but couldn’t collect until after 3pm. This is absolutely fine, we can do this, simply pull into the yard and park up. Either come to the shop doorway and we will pass your order through to you or ring us to let us know you are there and we will bring your order out to you.
Whilst to date we have not charged for any home deliveries, going forward from the 4th August a small fee of £2.00 will be added to orders for home delivery under £20.00 to go towards labour and fuel costs.
Shop Door Service
A shop door service will be added on Tuesdays to Fridays between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. This will start on Tuesday 4thAugust on a trial basis only and we will review progress in terms of team safety and demand of the service.
Please remember wearing masks will be mandatory and please do not come to the shop if you are showing symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath.
The shop is quite different, we’ll be serving at a counter at the doorway as before lockdown, there will be hand sanitiser, screens on the counter and the room layout reconfigured to accommodate packing orders for collection and delivery. We therefore ask that you come to the shop with a list ready so that we can serve you in the most efficient, quickest time and not keep too many people waiting outside. Where possible please bring your own shopping bags. Contactless card payments would be preferred to reduce contact.
Thank you for your understanding, when trying to navigate our direction during these challenging times my father said to me that the only ‘win’ outcome was for our family and team to stay safe and well. I do hope we can achieve this.
Until the 4th August we are operating an order collect system whereby we pack orders, call to do a card prepayment and arrange a collection time. If you would like to place an order please email a list of your requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of the team will reply with the next available slot. This will usually be available within 48 hours. Alternatively if you are self isolating and unable to collect from the gate we can arrange a delivery for you. If you would like to know any prices please call 01507 327 395 after 11am as we are buying fresh produce daily and prices do change from day to day.
You can find a list of produce to help with your shopping list here: Produce List July 2020
Alternatively we do set boxes which are available to order for collection:
