CHRISTMAS HAMPERS AT SHAW’S 2025

This year I have tried to go back to our roots and channel my inner Jack for our Christmas offering. Jack was my Grandad and the 2nd generation of our family business. For decades he was in charge of fruit boxes and hampers and we have continued that tradition. We still use the equipment he did, still lay our fruit out in the same order he did. We’ve added a bit of sparkle; tissue paper, shredded paper and as always at Christmas we will be using his fun kitsch addition of a little tinsel in each box, because Christmas isn’t Christmas without a bit of kitsch. Grandad had a habit of humming a three bar tune as he worked on the hampers, “dee, dee, dee”, he would sing. We will do our best to emulate.

  • Hampers are available to order for collection throughout November and December.
  • Local delivery is also available on our designated routes at £5.50, please ask a member of staff for routes.
  • Please allow 48 hours-notice.
  • Please order for the day you are gifting the hamper as fruit does not keep well wrapped in the cellophane.
  • Hampers must be paid for upon order either in person in the shop or on the phone.
